Herbert Addison is a native Houstonian known as Pastor Herb.  He is a licensed local pastor in the United Methodist Church.  Pastor Herb has served at Covenant Glen United Methodist Church, St. John’s Downtown United Methodist Church, Bethlehem United Methodist Church, The Texas Southern University Wesley Foundation and now is the proud pastor of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.

Pastor Herb was formerly incarcerated for selling drugs.  After completing a seven-year sentence he was released in 2006.  He vows to reach out to those who feel rejected and lost. Pastor Herb is now a published author and a gospel recording artist.  He has charted number one on billboard Heatseekers and is an Amazon number one bestseller.  Pastor Herb is a graduate of Belhaven University with a Bachelor of Social Services and a Master’s in Science and Leadership.  He transformed from a prisoner and high school dropout to an educated pastor.  Pastor Herb is a true example of God’s grace and has a heart for God’s people.  He has a proven track record of working hard in the kingdom.  He believes love is the number one element that will draw the lost.
